Born and raised in Colorado, Logan Indge is a violinist, violist, and music educator currently based in Missoula, Montana. He performs all around Western Montana with the Helena Symphony, Missoula Symphony, Glacier Symphony, Bozeman Symphony, and the String Orchestra of the Rockies. Alongside an active performance career, Logan is a passionate string music educator. In addition to freelance school visitations and coachings in Missoula, Logan has over 10 years of private teaching experience. Logan runs a private studio where he teaches violin, viola, and cello lessons out of home, and virtually with Mountainside Music Academy in Colorado.
Logan received dual-degrees (Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and Bachelor of Music Education Instrumental Strings) from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he studied with Claude Sim and Alex Gonzalez on violin, Erika Eckert on viola, and chamber music with Dr. Meta Weiss. During his undergraduate experience, he served as principal and/or section musician for many of the college’s ensembles including the CU Symphony Orchestra, CU Opera Orchestra, CU Philharmonia, CU Campus Orchestra, and CU Campus Band. He also hosted multiple degree recitals, partook in many chamber music showcase concerts, and has held a violin fellowship for the Montana Youth Symphony’s 2026 summer festival.
Outside of music, Logan’s favorite non-musical pastimes include hanging out with animals, cooking, crafts, coffee, watching the latest TV shows, traveling, and spending time with his wonderful fiancé and local NBC Meteorologist, Alex LaMotte.
