SOR and Dolce Canto

Two of Missoula’s most treasured musical institutions join forces for an unforgettable musical experience in Peteris Vasks’ powerfully moving Dona Nobis Pacem led by Dolce Canto’s music director, David Edmonds. The program opens with an Elegie, a rarely-heard romantic masterpiece by Danish-American composer Carl Busch. Lieberman’s charming string orchestra arrangement of Luigi Cherubini’s operatic third quartet is also featured, along with some special surprises! Be sure to get your tickets early!
